A field of over twenty thousand square metres, the most orange field in the entire Veneto region. The ‘Villaggio delle Zucche – Pumpkin Field’ at Flover Farm in Bussolengo, in the province of Verona which is open until 31 October. An enchanted place in which the pumpkin is the absolute protagonist, from attractions for challenges among friends, to educational workshops for children, passing through activities for families without forgetting the delicious recipes based on the characteristic fruit of the Halloween festivity.
There will also be many surprises for the little ones with ad hoc activities such as the Farm Dance and the Academy of Lady Autumnia, an educational show to discover pumpkins. Not to be missed is the workshop ‘E tu che zucca sei?’ (‘What kind of pumpkin are you?’), which will allow young visitors to pick their own pumpkin directly from the field and decorate it by choosing from four different styles: Zuccarina, Zuccaramella, Zuccanaglia, Zuccaraibi. The cost is 15 euros, including the pumpkin.
The Pumpkin Field at Flover Farm is the ideal place to spend a colourful day of fun and curiosity with an exhibition of more than twenty varieties of ornamental pumpkins that can also be purchased. Also not to be missed are the many attractions where you can challenge your friends: the slide from which you can launch yourself at full speed, the maxi-bowling with pumpkins, the ‘Pumpkin Catcher’, a Farm-style reinterpretation of the traditional fairground swan game, the wheelbarrow race, the Farm tractor and the return of the corn pool.
Another activity in which you can test your orientation skills is the corn maze (Labirinto del mais), a tangled 2600-square-metre course, in which finding the exit will be the greatest challenge, and much more. Flover Farm is open Monday to Friday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and admission with a Pumpkin Pass at a cost of 5 euro. Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. with Pumpkin Pass entry at a cost of 8 euros.
