The 58th edition of Marmomac, the International Exhibition dedicated to the natural stone supply chain, held at Veronafiere from 24 to 27 September, has come to an end. An edition that exceeded expectations, attracting more than 50 thousand operators from 140 different countries, 66% of which from abroad. Over the four days, exhibitors – 1.485 companies from 55 nations – occupied an exhibition area of 74 thousand square metres divided between 12 pavilions and 4 outdoor areas.

The numbers are proof of the success of an event that confirms itself as the main reference point for the stone industry globally, from stone quarrying to technological and design applications. ‘This edition,’ comments Federico Bricolo, President of Veronafiere, ’confirms Marmomac’s leadership as a model of internationality and innovation, as also stressed by the Minister of Business and Made in Italy Urso during the opening.

Demonstrating the market trend, the top 5 foreign buyers were Germany, Spain, USA, France and India, with a 10% increase from India and an exploit from the UK with +20%. Two international initiatives have strengthened the positioning of the exhibition: the renewal of the agreement between Veronafiere and Confindustria Marmomacchine until 2029 for the promotion of Made in Italy and the launch of Marmomac Brazil, a new exhibition platform that will debut in Sao Paulo in 2025.

The date for the next edition is set for 23 to 26 September 2025, promising to continue to be a reference point for the entire stone community worldwide.
