Everything is set in Verona for the Team Tennis Regional Finals. Players under the age of 16, 14, 12, and 10 will be competing for the Veneto crowns this weekend at At Verona (Associazione Tennis Verona) and Ct Scaligero (Circolo Scaligero), with the teams vying for the Veneto championships. There will be 28 teams participating, divided between two clubs, and additional matches are expected to be played on Sunday at Tennis Pineta 2018.
This year’s competition introduces a new format, replacing the traditional round-robin with semifinals and finals brackets. Awards will be presented on Sunday afternoon at “At Verona.” The competition will also award the Bertagna Cup to the most deserving club.
Five teams from Verona will compete for the regional title: Tennis S.G. Lupatoto in the under-16 girls’ division, At Villafranca in the under-12 boys’ division, Ct Scaligero in the under-14 boys’ division, Ct Cerea in the under-14 girls’ division, and At Verona in the under-16 boys’ division.
