There are many different events not to be missed in Verona on National Workers’ Day (1 May). All civic museums and monuments will be open. From Sunday 28 April, visits to the Civic Museums combined with the traditional rubber dinghy ride down the river proposed by Adige Rafting will resume. It will be possible to visit the Castelvecchio Museum, the Archaeological Museum at the Roman Theatre and the Natural History Museum, which can be reached from some fixed stops along the river route. It starts on Sunday with the first stop at the Natural History Museum.
The excursion corresponds to the city stretch of the Adige (8.5 km), starting from the new centre of excellence for river sports at Chievo, in front of the cycle path, and finishing at Boschetto at the riding stables in the Galtarossa area. The meeting point is at 9.30 am at the Bottagisio Sport Center water base.

On Thursday 2 May the inauguration, at 6.30 p.m. at the Civic Library, of the exhibition Joan Miró on the pages of Derrière le miroir, with colourful and imaginative original lithographs by the Catalan painter, as part of the ‘Libri e Rose’ 2024 literary event. Until Sunday 5 May, access to the Courtyard and Juliet’s House will be from the Teatro Nuovo in Piazzetta Navona, while the exit will be on Via Cappello. To visit Juliet’s House and access the balcony, online booking is compulsory at museiverona.com
Also until 5 May, in conjunction with the restoration work on the monument and the setting up of the structures necessary for the opera season and the extra opera performances, the entrance ticket to the Arena will have a reduced price of three euro.
