Villafranca di Verona is hosting two major events: Italian Motor Week and World Made in Italy Day. The first, organized by Città dei Motori-Anci, is an event dedicated to preserving Italian automotive history. From April 13 to 21, the Municipality of Villafranca will organize a variety of activities that celebrate the historic companies, places, and people who contributed to Made in Italy motoring. Thanks to a cooperation with Museo Nicolis, visitors will be able to immerse themselves in the evolution of Italian design and motoring via ten pieces that represent the best of the twentieth century.
Museo Nicolis will also host two free guided tours at 3 p.m. on the weekend of April 20 and 21, a one-of-a-kind opportunity to learn about Italy’s cultural history while also sharing your love of cars with your family.
Meanwhile, from April 15 to 21, Mimit (Ministry of Business and Made in Italy), Museimpresa, and the Italian Historical Trademark Association will commemorate World Made in Italy Day. This significant endeavor seeks to raise the value and quality of Italian products, which are known and adored all over the globe.
An exhibition that connects Italian culture and motoring
Furthermore, in connection with the Italian Motor Week, the City of Villafranca di Verona hosts a unique art experience at Palazzo Bottagisio. The opening will take place on April 12 at 5:30 p.m., with a presentation by art critic Federico Martinelli. The Department of Culture-curated exhibit will feature 30 artworks by Mara Isolani that show journeys in classic vehicles, enhanced by reflections of their surroundings.
The exhibition will be open on Saturdays and Sundays from April 13 to 21, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. In addition, on Sundays, April 14 and 21, guided tours with the artist are scheduled at 10:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Admission is free and accessible to anyone who wants to have an unforgettable creative experience in the heart of Villafranca di Verona.
