Two thousand five hundred horses of sixty different breeds are arriving in Verona for four days of events during which sportsmen, sector operators and enthusiasts can discover all facets of the equestrian world. Twelve stands and six outdoor areas for over one hundred and twenty-eight thousand square metres already set up in the Veronafiere Exhibition Centre.
“A passion that brings people together” is the claim of the event. Thirty-five breeders’ associations and seven hundred exhibiting companies from twenty-five countries will be present at Fieracavalli 2023 (the historic event was first held in 1898), while more than twohundred events will be scheduled, including competitions, shows and conventions.
The new edition emphasises the elective affinity between man and animal: from the press campaign to the new Horse Safety System project and the best of the breeding sector. There are also great expectations for the only Italian stage of the Longines Fei Jumping World Cup, the FISE competitions, the Golden Gala, and the exhibition of rural tourism and typical flavours.
The age-old relationship between man and horse (leitmotiv of the event) is at the centre of the Horse Friendly Arena (Hall 9) where demonstrations by some of the best natural training schools such as the Italian Ecole de Légèreté Group, Classical Riding in Lightness with coach Massimo Basili, Salvio Annunziato with Clicker Training, the Parelli Italian Instructors Team, and the Italian Equestrian Academy will be held every day. New for 2023 is the presence (in Hall 12) of Mario Sbrana and Asia D’Acquarone who will show Fieracavalli audiences an approach to learning the disciplines of Reining, Jumping and Dressage based entirely on trust.
Last but not least, entertainment, capable of thrilling families and the curious alike to the world of Fieracavalli, thanks to a palimpsest of events that will populate the day and night of the event. During the day, in Hall 1, there is the Family Area that expands the play and educational area with moments of entertainment, the traditional saddle christening and vaulting. the Fieracavalli Gold Gala, which this year pays tribute to the horse (which has always been man’s faithful companion) and its artistic representations, brought to life thanks to 12 exciting performances by artists of the calibre of Clemence Faivre, Carmine Pignataro, Giuseppe Cimarosa, Giulia Giona and the guest of honour, Santi Serra Camps.
