Verona’s pumpkin patch. The Flover Farm and its pumpkin maze return for the fall season and bring to Bussolengo animations, workshops, alpacas, and local cuisine. Daily events for adults and children, as well as free access to the maze from 3 to 7 p.m. during the week, are scheduled.
Pumpkin mazes and family activities
A day in nature at Bussolengo’s flover farm, which reopened its pumpkin maze on September 30. After guests have navigated their way through the corn and selected the most beautiful pumpkin in the field, they can decorate it with accessories with the assistance of the farmwives. Monday through Friday, children above the age of 5 can participate in the program from 3 to 6 p.m., while weekends have two sessions each day: the first from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the second from 2 to 7 p.m.
And, on Saturday and Sunday, there will be another event for children, who will be tasked with transforming into superheroes and defending the Pumpkin Village from the strongest threat of birds of prey: Raven. And nothing beats a visit with an alpaca to help you recuperate from your adventure with the enemy. The gourd encounter on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 will reveal all the fascinating facts about the charming animals, thanks to Alberto and Ilaria, their guardians. An hour-long workshop for children ages 6 and up will introduce them to the alpacas in the paddock and conclude with a walk among the pumpkins.
Cooking classes are also available at the Flover Farm.
The Pumpkin Village is full of enthusiasm, entertainment, and activities, as well as delicious food. People will be able to participate in cooking lessons led by Chef Marina Grazioli of the Associazione Cuochi Scaligeri, where they will learn how to transform the pumpkin into a true work of culinary art. Creamy risottos, desserts such as muffins and brownies, and savory dishes are all accompanied by the cook’s expert hands.
Weekend cooking sessions will be given from Saturday, Oct. 8, to Sunday, Oct. 22. Every day, from 10 a.m. to midday, there will be many options for the two-hour topic lessons at a cost of 35 euros per participant. Children accompanying an adult are admitted free, and entry to Flover Farm is included in the ticket price.
