Verona training sessions for the Italian national basketball team, also known as Italbasket, headed by Gianmarco Pozzecco will take place in the Palazzetto Le Grazie in Borgo Roma on Monday, August 7, from 5 to 8 p.m., and Tuesday, August 8, 2023, from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. The Italian Men’s National Basketball Team will be in Verona for a training session ahead of their participation in the 19th Men’s World Basketball Championship, which will be held in Japan, the Philippines, and Indonesia from August 25 to September 10, 2023.
After Verona, Italbasket flies to Athens for the Acropolis Tournament.
It will be possible to watch the Italian team training sessions, for free, on Monday, August 7, from 5 to 8 p.m., and Tuesday, August 8, 2023, from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. after which, the team will leave for Greece. They will be in Athens to play in the prestigious Acropolis Tournament, which has become one of the regular summer basketball appointments for National teams. Serbia (August 9, 6:45 p.m. Italian time) and Greece (August 10, 6:45 p.m. Italian time) await the blue squad. Two games against two of Europe’s and the world’s greatest lineups.
