From 26th to 28th May, the festival of wines and flavours of the Veneto Region returns to Jesolo, this year in Piazza Mazzini. The Street Wine Jesolo event comes to its second edition, transforming the Venetian town into a large open-air cellar with a tasting itinerary for the enhancement of products made in Veneto.
After the successful first edition, Street Wine Jesolo returns. In the three days from 26th to 28th May the coast of Jesolo will turn into a destination for good drinking with a tasting trail that will bring the scents and flavours of wine excellence from the Northeast. There will be 250 labels among wineries and consortia of Tutelage and several areas dedicated to tastings of local specialties. The project was created as an event linked to the famous “Strade del Vino” – “Wine Streets” – which aims to enhance the value of Made in Veneto. Participants will have the opportunity to taste local quality products and get to know the professionals and the passion behind every glass of wine.
A complete food and wine experience accompanied by a map that will indicate the route and all the wineries participating in the event. Access will be free, allowing everyone to move freely within the event, however, tastings will be charged. Tickets can be purchased at the checkout post at the beginning of the route, cost 15 euros, and will include, in addition to the eight tokens for tastings at the stands, a dedicated glass to taste the wines.
The festival will be open from 18:00 to midnight on Friday and Saturday and the last orders will be taken at 23:30. On Sunday people can participate during the day from 11:00 to 18:00 and the last tickets will be sold at 17:00.
More than a simple wine festival, Street Wine Jesolo will be a project that aims to enhance the Made in Veneto and local realities. There will be restaurants and activities in the town of Jesolo offering gourmet dishes while representing some of the flagships of Venetian food and wine.
