The prestigious Arena di Verona is gearing up for its 102nd Opera Festival, a grand spectacle spanning 51 unforgettable nights from June 13 to September 6, 2025. This highly anticipated season will feature an array of operas, concerts, dance performances, and special events, showcasing the world’s top artists in the historic open-air amphitheater under the stars. Behind the scenes and on stage, over 1.400 professionals will contribute to making this the largest opera festival in the world.

The Fondazione Arena di Verona has officially launched its search for various professional roles, including extras, to bring this monumental festival to life. This is a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about opera and live performance to take part in productions of Carmen, Aida, La Traviata, and Rigoletto, under the direction of legendary artists such as Zeffirelli, De Ana, and Poda. Additionally, extras will also be involved in the highly anticipated new production of Nabucco by Poda.


Who Can Apply?

The call is open to male and female extras who meet the following criteria:

  • Residency/Domicile: Applicants must reside or be domiciled in Verona or its surroundings.
  • Age Groups: Candidates must have been born between 1967 and 1977 or between 1985 and 2007.
