Lake Garda is preparing to welcome lovers from all over the world for the Valentine’s Day weekend. In the thirteen Municipalities in the Province of Verona partnering in the “Lago di Garda in Love” circuit hundreds of initiatives will take place, including events, walks, guided tours, concerts, markets, and themed tastings. From the lakeside to mountain landscapes, passing through walled cities, three days will be dedicated to the red wave of love.
It will be the ultimate romantic weekend. From Friday, February 14, to Sunday, February 16, 2025, Cupid will transform Lake Garda into a romantic stage for the eighth edition of “Lago di Garda in Love – Lungolago d’Amore”. The red thread of love will connect the municipalities of Sirmione, Valeggio sul Mincio, Castelnuovo del Garda, Lazise, Garda, Torri del Benaco, Brenzone sul Garda, San Zeno di Montagna, and Ferrara di Monte Baldo, with special participation from Innsbruck (Austria), Montagnana (Padua), Soave (Verona), and the twinning with Ronzone (Trento).
On Friday, February 14, the event will kick off with the official inauguration in Sirmione, where at 5:30 PM, the opening ceremony will take place featuring the enchanting Piano Sky in Love, a suspended piano playing emotional melodies. Following this, the cascade of Soffi d’Amore will fill Sirmione’s square with heart-shaped confetti. Meanwhile, in Lazise, the romantic Vela del Cuore on Lungolago Marconi will welcome lovers with live music and entertainment, while the Borgo di Lazise in Love will offer musical performances and themed decorations. In the heart of Garda, the Congress Center will host the concert “Il Sole è di tutti” with renowned artists. In Torri del Benaco, the Cuore Rosso del Lago in Piazza Calderini and the Terrazza d’Amore at Castello Scaligero will embrace couples seeking romantic moments. Additionally, in Ferrara di Monte Baldo, don’t miss the romantic moonlit walk Amore, Montagna e Stelle, featuring an aperitif at high altitude and dinner at Baito Novezza.
On Saturday, February 15, the program will intensify with the Coppa Giulietta & Romeo, a vintage car race organized by Aci Verona, starting from the center of Garda. In Valeggio sul Mincio, the Passeggiata in Love will reveal local history through a romantic walk, while the “borgo dei borghi” will offer a unique food and wine experience with Soave tra Vino e Storia: a guided tour and tasting in historic wineries. Meanwhile, in Lazise, the Messaggio del Cuore will continue to collect love messages, awarding the most beautiful phrases. Among the various initiatives, don’t miss Bandiere in Love, a traveling flag-waving performance accompanied by drums and trumpets. Love meets discovery in Torri del Benaco with a Trekking in Love, a 6 km loop trail through ancient hamlets and breathtaking views of Lake Garda, reaching Albisano, “the terrace on the lake.” Meanwhile, Montagnana will host a special sunset tour of the Mastio di Ezzelino.
Sunday, February 16, will open with the Passeggiata dell’Amore, an itinerary connecting Lazise, Bardolino, and Garda, featuring breathtaking views and enchanting atmospheres. In Lazise, the Vela del Cuore will continue to host a series of public events, including the Cooking Show in Love, where chef Vanessa Lorenzetti will celebrate Radicchio di Verona I.G.P. A new addition for 2025 is Libri in Love, featuring a meeting with Gianpaolo Trevisi, director of the Police School of Peschiera del Garda, presenting his book “L’amore che non c’è” with live readings. In Torri del Benaco, families can enjoy Piccoli Cuochi in Love, a pastry workshop for children. Another family-friendly initiative, Fiabe in Cammino, will take place in Ferrara di Monte Baldo, offering a sensory and perceptive group walk accompanied by a storytelling voice. In the afternoon, Montagnana will host the Mercatino degli Innamorati, showcasing artisanal products and gastronomic specialties, while Lazise will conclude the day with the Bacio Lungo un Minuto, a romantic collective kiss set to an emotional soundtrack, followed by the final cascade of Soffi d’Amore. Throughout the weekend, visitors can enjoy the Mercatini in Love, the luminous installations of Rosso di Sera in Lazise, Torri del Benaco, and Soave, as well as the romantic Selfie in Love spots scattered across various locations. Additionally, adventure seekers can experience the Bacio ad Alta Quota at 1,850 meters above sea level, thanks to the Prada-Costabella cable car.
