Verona’s “Tourist in My City” initiative is returning this Sunday, February 2. For just one euro, visitors can explore the city’s Civic Museums. This program takes place on the first Sunday of every month, allowing residents and visitors to discover Verona’s rich artistic and historical heritage at a discounted price. The promotion is valid for all civic museums and monuments except Juliet’s House. Tickets can be purchased at museiverona.com, and booking in advance is recommended.

Visitors can access the following sites for just one euro:

  • Galleria d’Arte Moderna Achille Forti
  • Museo Archeologico al Teatro Romano
  • Museo degli Affreschi G.B. Cavalcaselle and Juliet’s Tomb
  • Museo di Castelvecchio
  • Museo di Storia Naturale
  • Museo Lapidario Maffeiano
  • Torre dei Lamberti (reservations required at 045 9273027)

The Arena Amphitheater remains closed until February 10 due to ongoing restoration work.

Guided tours for an enriched experience

Visitors can book guided tours at various museums as part of the “Tourist in My City” program. Each guided tour costs 5 euros, in addition to the museum entry fee, but is free for children under 14.
