From 11 to 13 October, “Hostaria” the Verona Wine Festival returns, celebrating its tenth edition this year. Three days full of wine and food tastings, events and guests. Squares and corners of the Verona city will be coloured with flavours and colours thanks to one of the most popular wine&food events ever. The focus will be on tastings with the iconic Hostaria branded glass kit together with the beloved tokens, but also cultural initiatives and entertainment.

The historic centre city of Verona will once again be transformed into a typical osteria under the stars with hundreds of wine labels to discover, as part of a programme of free events with music, guests, and typically Italian food experiences.
The stands will open on Friday from 6 to 11 p.m., on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. (tills close one hour earlier). Saturday evening side event with the After Festival Aperol Spritz until midnight in Cortile del Tribunale.

Absolute to try the “chicche”, special tokens that will entitle visitors to extra tastings, such as the coffee break enveloped in music, the tasting with the host, or the focaccia with special flours, salt cod, bacon and pumpkin, the wine tastings presented by Soave producers, and the Tuscan cicchetti. There will also be the classic “sbecolerie” to taste typical Veronese, Veneto and regional specialities in combination with wines. Strolling through the historic centre, along with the iconic kit, will be small, strictly zero-kilometre dishes. This year’s novelties include panbollito with pearà, risotto with tastasal, tortellini from Valeggio, malga gnocchi and Lessinia cheeses. There are also arancini risi e bisi, tigelle from Emilia and delicacies from Amatrice, arrosticini, bocconcini from Salento, and various desserts. There are also many gluten-free proposals.
