The countdown to the Asics Trail delle Mura has already begun. The race that balances sport, history and territory will return to illuminate Verona on Saturday 31 August, when runners and amateurs alike will discover the face of the city of Verona in the evening hours of late summer. The race, organised by Verona Marathon Team Asd, will start at 8.30 p.m. from Piazza San Zeno, and will continue along a 17-kilometre route full of charm and history.
New this year is the Family Night Trail, a non-competitive race 8 kilometres long and suitable for everyone, with no need for membership or medical certificates. It is in fact a race designed on the streets of the historic centre and its many symbolic places, perfect for families and enthusiasts who will be able to run or walk at their own pace to discover the city. The starting point will always be in Piazza San Zeno, with the ribbon cutting at the same time, shortly after sunset.
Registration is still open on the Endu sports events platform (https://www.endu.net/it/events/asics-trail-delle-mura/) or at the Verona Marathon Hub Shop (Via Circonvallazione Maroncelli 7/E in Verona).
The participation fee for Asics Trail delle Mura – Competitiva is 30 euro until 29 August and 35 euro on the day of the event (Piazza San Zeno from 3pm to 8pm). The fee includes race package, event t-shirt, finisher’s medal and refreshments (along the route and in the final part).
The registration fee for the Family Night Trail – Non-Competitive is 12 euros until 29 August and 15 euros on the day of the event, and includes both the race package with food and wine products from the Mamma Emma and Zuegg companies and the final refreshments.
