The countdown for Hostaria has begun. The Verona Wine Festival returns from Friday, October 10 to Sunday, October 12, with plenty of events celebrating some of the most famous anniversaries. This year marks Hostaria’s tenth anniversary, and the Festival will include a lot of novelties.

The Festival will transform Verona’s old center into an open-air wine cellar, with hundreds of wine labels to discover. There will also be a full calendar of free events, including music, cultural activities, and one-of-a-kind experiences like the exclusive “chicche” tastings. The 10th edition promises to be a complete voyage into the world of wine, from tiny producers to huge consortia, emphasizing innovation and the perfection of Italian food, which is presently being considered for a UNESCO World Heritage designation. Visitors will take a gastronomic journey of Italy, sampling the best wines from Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Emilia Romagna, Abruzzo, Tuscany, and even Salento.
