The University of Verona‘s Sports Science program has climbed to fourth place on the global list, according to the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) by ShanghaiRanking Consultancy. This prestigious ranking highlights the world’s highest-quality sports science courses, and as a result, Verona’s program is now regarded as Italy’s best.
ARWU evaluates institutions based on six objective criteria, all of which are connected to scientific production. These include the number of highly referenced researchers, scientific journal publications, and indexed articles.
The University of Verona’s sports science department participated with 300 other universities globally, and Verona received a remarkable overall score of 73.5 out of 100, including a significant 99.8 for publications. These citation statistics demonstrate the international impact of Verona’s study on mobility among the scientific community.
