Adolfo Rebughini, who has been Chief Operating Officer since February 2023, has been unanimously voted the new General Manager of VeronaFiere. In this pivotal role, Rebughini will play a central role in the strategic plan “One Veronafiere 2024-2026,” which allocates 30 million euros for investments in both physical and digital infrastructures.

“I thank the Board of Directors of Veronafiere for the full confidence they have placed in me with this appointment and my colleagues for their support and collaboration since I joined the company,” stated Rebughini. “Taking on this position inside an institution like Veronafiere, which has a long history of supporting several vital industrial areas for the country, is a big responsibility. I embark on this new journey with humility, a team spirit, and a dedication to Veronafiere’s continued growth and innovation, focusing on fostering economic, social, and environmental sustainability. I am sure we can effectively address the major challenges ahead using the professional and personal qualities of all employees and management.”

The new challenges that Adolfo Rebughini will face

Rebughini will manage several improvements at VeronaFiere, from infrastructural energy efficiency upgrades to eating options redesign. A crucial component of the strategy plan is to boost the international growth of well-known brands such as Vinitaly and Marmomac, which are becoming increasingly dominant in the Asian market. Furthermore, VeronaFiere is working on additional trade fair products.

The Amphora Revolution, one of the Italian calendar’s novelties, debuted on June 7-8. Next year’s activities include the Paving Show, which focuses on road infrastructure (March 12–13, 2025), and La Fiera di Vita in Campagna (March 14–16, 2025), bought in March. The SOL exhibition, focused on olive oil, will change format in 2025, with a new name and an increased variety of associated items. This event will no longer overlap with Vinitaly but will have its own space on the VeronaFiere calendar to increase its visibility and financial success.
