The Festival Riflessi del Garda is back to enliven the Veronese shores of Lake Garda with a rich artistic programme. From 5th to 20th July, eight evenings of concerts, recitals and dance, featuring promising young talents alongside internationally renowned names, accompanied by talks with the artists. Thirteen evenings of music and dance spread over the towns of Castelnuovo del Garda, Lazise and the Sanctuary of the Madonna del Frassino in Peschiera del Garda. The evenings are always different and aim to involve the inhabitants, holidaymakers and tourists who flock to the shores of Lake Garda in the summer, with programmes that combine different periods and styles in a refined journey through the history of music and dance.


Organised by the Niccolò Piccinni ODV Fund, the Festival brings together great names and young stars of the international lyrical-symphonic scene: From the soprano Mariam Battistelli with the tenor Fabio Armiliato for the opening night, to the mezzo-soprano Marta Pluda, the first dancers and soloists of the Teatro alla Scala accompanied by the violin of the famous performer Saulė Kilaitė, the young piano virtuosos Emanuele Savròn and Nicola Parisi and the famous violinist Enrico Casazza with his ensemble.

The exceptional participation of the actor Fabio Testi in the evening dedicated to the soundtracks that have made the history of Italian cinema and the great soprano Katia Ricciarelli, patron of the evening dedicated to the 42nd Piccinni Prize, which will be awarded to the world-famous violinist Uto Ughi, complete the evening.

The event opens on Friday 5 July with GALA PUCCINI, an evening dedicated to Giacomo Puccini, the world-famous composer from Lucca, whose centenary will fall in 2024. The following evening, Saturday 6 July, the Orchestra returns to the Campanello stage for DAVID DI DONATELLO: THE CONCERT, a tribute to the most iconic soundtracks of Italian cinema, winners of the David di Donatello Awards. On Sunday 7 July, the eagerly awaited DANCE FOR THE EARTH will take place, with the return of the first dancers and soloists of La Scala. On Saturday 6th July and Sunday 7th July, at 7 pm, once again on the Campanello Stage overlooking the lake, the programme will be enriched by the Terrazza degli Artisti, a pre-evening event led by the artistic director, Maximilien Seren-Piccinni, to discuss opera, music and performance with the protagonists of the Festival and to prepare for the listening and viewing. The programme at Castelnuovo will be rounded off by the IMAGINE concert, which will take place on the Festival stage on Monday 8 July, again at 9.15 pm, with a symphonic presentation of jazz, pop and rock sounds by the Archimia String Quartet. From 12th to 14th July, the festival moves to Lazise, where on Friday 12th July at 21.15, in the Church of Saints Zenone and Martino, the violinist Enrico Casazza and the ensemble La Magnifica Comunità will present DVOŘÁK, GIRAMONDO BOEMO, an evening dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the death of Antonín Dvořák, followed the next evening, Saturday 13 July, also at 9 p.m., in the Dogana Veneta, by the four-string piano quartet Archimia. 15 July at the Dogana Veneta, the young duo Emanuele Savròn and Nicola Parisi will perform a four-hand piano recital CHOPIN VS CHOPIN, a tribute to Fryderyk Chopin on the 175th anniversary of the Polish composer’s death. The second edition of the Riflessi del Garda Festival closes on Saturday 20 July at 9.15 pm in the Sanctuary of the Madonna del Frassino in Peschiera del Garda with the concert for voice, organ and trumpet SCINTILLÆ NOCTIS, performed by the Ensemble Organa et Bucinæ.
