Saturday 1 June, in the late afternoon in Zevio, province of Verona (Piazza Guglielmo Marconi and Corso Cavour), the Pink Night and the most eagerly awaited colourful event of the year will come to life. In collaboration with the organisers of the Torneo delle contrade, the ‘Colour Run’ will start at 6 pm in Piazza Santa Toscana. The registration fee for the marathon is only 2 euro. An event that brings enthusiasm, festivity and, of course, colours in profusion, unleashing the desire for fun in young and old alike.
During this a-night-long festival, the shops in the centre will remain open until late in the evening to allow visitors to shop at their leisure without having to worry about timetables and parking. At the same time, there will be attractions and entertainment for children and a hobby market.
Live music is planned for 7.30 p.m. Also in Piazza Marconi, a special event will take us back to the old days when people had fun with very little. Two small pieces of wood and everyone challenging each other to throw them as far as possible. We are talking, as you may have already guessed, about the game of ‘s-cianco’. This year the championship is being held in 7 stages, involving 6 municipalities and 11 teams. Starting at 7 p.m., it will also be possible to dine on a choice of pasta and pizza dishes, all accompanied by excellent beer.
