Calici di Jazz is back for its second edition, promising unforgettable evenings of music, good wine and culture. The events, organised by Verona’s Teatro Ristori, are an opportunity to immerse oneself in the evocative atmosphere of Verona’s historic wine houses, exploring the combination of art and conviviality.
Every Thursday in June will be an opportunity for a unique experience. Thanks to the collaboration with Casa Sartori 1898, Musella Winery, Cantina Monteci and Tommasi Family Estates, spectators will be able to taste fine terroirs and enjoy the company of some of the biggest names in international jazz.
The line-up of artists is simply exceptional. It starts on 6 June with Sarah Jane Morris and the Solis String Quartet in ‘All You Need is Love’ at Casa Sartori 1898. This is followed on 13 June by Tony Esposito with ‘Le Origini’ at Musella Winery, while on 20 June it will be time for Fabrizio Bosso and Lorenzo Tucci‘s ‘Drumpet’ at Cantine Monteci. Finally, on 27 June, Gegè Telesforo will close the festival with ‘Big Mama Legacy’ in the gardens of Villa Quaranta Tommasi.
Tickets, at a one-off cost of 50 euros, are available at the Ristori Theatre box office until 15 May, as well as online at www.teatroristori.org. In case of bad weather, the events will take place inside the Ristori Theatre, except for the date at the Monteci Winery.
