Inaugurated this morning in the presence of the mayor of the city of Verona, Damiano Tommasi, the exhibition that until 17 December traces the 60th anniversary of the city’s stadium, the Stadio Marcantonio Bentegodi. The route is the one the footballers take to take the field and in the long tunnel there are panels with curiosities of the facility built in 1963.
Admission to the exhibition is free, but reservations are already sold out. It will still be possible to visit the exhibition, says a note from Hellas Verona, with no guarantee of entry times, until the maximum capacity of the track is reached.
Mayor Tommasi, who has fond memories of his time at Hellas as a footballer, recalled the project to renovate the Bentegodi stadium in preparation for the Euro 2023 bid.
