A course for family caregivers will begin on November 6 for those who want to train in the caring profession. Classes will be held until mid-December for a total of 64 hours, after which a certificate of attendance will be provided, with the option of asking for entrance to EbinColf certification for those who have completed 80 percent of the entire number of hours.
The EbinColf certification attests to the domestic worker’s competencies and is the bilateral domestic labor body that operates as a competency certification body under the CertiColf logo.
The training will be hosted at Cisl Verona, Lungadige Galtarossa 22D, and is supported by Ebincolf (the National Bilateral Body of Employers of Family Collaborators Sector), Fisascat Verona, Centro Servizi Cisl (C.S.C.) S.r.l., and the Municipality of Verona. This is a program for both people without employment and those who are already employed.

Topics covered during the classes will range from home organization and management to an illustration of services in the area. The program also focuses on meal preparation with kitchen workshops, safety and labor contracting, emergency management, communication and relationship techniques, as well as caregiver hygiene.
