Discover Verona’s naturalistic beauty on guided walks. Autumn Walks, the format planned by the La Raganella Onlus Association, will begin on Saturday, October 7, with scenic routes, nature paths, and hillside hamlets. There are seven free sessions until the end of the month to learn about Scaliger City’s most breathtaking views.
Saturday, October 7, featuring The Mysterious Vajo Borago. A two-hour walk with an AIGAE nature guide is intended for trained people. The group will meet at 9:30 a.m. in Avesa to embark on a 7-kilometer walk with a 200-meter elevation rise. On the other hand, an untrained appointment with La Valdonega and the Torricelle between the past and present is scheduled for Thursday, October 12. Accompanied by an AIGAE guide, you will discover the wildlife that surrounds the urban areas of the hills that housed the first pre-Roman communities and continue to fascinate with their beauty today.
Other hills to explore include those between Tovaglie and Santa Maria in Stelle, which will be the protagonists of the third trip on Saturday, October 14, beginning at 9:30 a.m. Participants will be able to walk 7 kilometers of 200-meter elevation rise through forests, ancient rural villages, and cultivated landscapes. Meet at Verona’s Parco delle Mura at 5 p.m. on Thursday, October 19, with an environmental guide who will accompany you on the amazing route leading to Castel San Felice.
The morning trek in Vajo di Quinzano, on the other hand, is organized for people who have been trained to walk in a place that alternates naturalistic traits and characteristic cultural elements on Saturday, October 21. On Thursday, October 26, return to the Parco delle Mura, but this time to the former Zoo area for a walk with an environmental guide to discover the changes in nature in the city. The meeting time is 5 p.m. at Porta San Zeno, and the return time for the 4-kilometer walk is 8 p.m.
Last date Saturday, October 28, with Vajo Galina, a nature-guided hike suited for trained individuals in the picturesque setting of Vaio Galina, along the paths of one of Verona’s most important nature areas. Departure from Avesa at 9:30 a.m.; hiking boots are recommended.
