The Monte Baldo Black Truffle Festival (Festa del Tartufo Nero del Monte Baldo) makes a triumphant return. It returns for four days of festivities, featuring tastings, music, and flea markets. Among the initiatives, the traditional walk with the truffle hunters on Sunday is not to be missed: three hours immersed in nature in search of truffles, followed by lunch at the truffle festival.
From this evening, Friday, August 25, until Monday, August 28, the fourteenth edition of the Monte Baldo Black Truffle Festival will be held in the picturesque setting of Caprino Veronese, in Piazza della Vittoria. Numerous food stands will be set up in the square and will be open from 19:00 on Friday and Monday and from 12:00 on Saturday and Sunday during lunch hours.

Of course, the black truffle will be the undisputed star of the four-day celebration. There’s something for everyone, from truffle bruschetta to traditional polenta with cream cheese and truffle to combinations with tagliatelle and carpaccio. This year’s festival will feature rich cuisine as well as the option to purchase the renowned Monte Baldo black truffle directly from the stands.
Not just truffles, the Caprino Veronese festival also features music and entertainment.
It all starts out tonight with Alberto Salaorni and the AL-B.BAND performing live in the square. Saturday, on the other hand, is overflowing with events, beginning with a flea market in the late afternoon and ending with “Caprino under the stars,” featuring shows and street performers, followed by the September Groove concert.
On Sunday, August 27, in addition to the truffle hunt, which begins at 9:00 a.m., there will be a flea market in the morning, and in the evening, after music by Veronica and Papillon’s Orchestra Spettacolo, there will be a theatrical performance of “The Palio of Verona.”
On Monday evening, following the solidarity dinner, music and dancing with Andrea Mantovani’s orchestra will end the Caprino Veronese Truffle Festival.
In Stringa Square, there will be daily Bimbo Party events for the little ones, including inflatables, performances, and games.
