The new Volotea Verona-Berlin flight service has been inaugurated. Two low-cost weekly flights from Catullo to the German capital.
From today, Friday, May 26, Verona comes a little closer to Berlin. For the first time Verona Catullo Airport will have a direct connection with Berlin with two flights per week, on Tuesday and Wednesday. And so, with tickets starting at 29 euros, you can travel quickly between the two cities, which are historically international partners.
The Volotea’s offer at the Catullo comes with the new route to fourteen connections: seven in Italy (Alghero, Cagliari, Catania, Lampedusa, Olbia, Palermo and Pantelleria), one in France (Paris Orly), four in Greece (Athens, Heraklion/Crete, Santorini, Zante), one in Spain (Barcelona) and one in Germany (Berlin).
And from October the Volotea flight Verona-Barcelona will change from two to three weekly departures, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday further facilitating the flow of tourism.
The flight to Berlin is a sign of the connection with Verona. “Germany is the first international partner for the commercial interchange with Verona, therefore the connection with the German capital will be particularly appreciated by the business community of Verona, which can easily depart from the nearest airport at home” stressed Camillo Bozzo, Commercial Aviation Director of the SAVE Group.
“It should not be forgotten that the route to Berlin, along with the many other national and international flights available in Verona, aims to significantly increase the flow of tourists in transit from the Venetian airport thus supporting the economy of the territory“, says Valeria Rebasti, International Market Director of Volotea.
