Many foreign tourists, especially Germans and French. Thousands of photos were also posted on social networks, with participants toasting each other while wearing the now iconic tasting kit, with a glass holder around the neck and the goblet that gives access to the various tasting stations.
At the 2023 Palio, the town of Negrar will also celebrate the victory of the historic Negrar winery La Quena, which won first prize in the wine competition combined with the popular festival. Its “Recioto d’annata” was judged by a panel of wine experts to be the best of the 15 wines in this year’s competition.
